Method of application

The material is installed on a prepared base. The material can be installed mechanically, glued to mastic, welded on or placed using automatic equipment. Overlappings should be welded-on thoroughly to guarantee covering tightness. Material application: according to the Manual for Designing and Installation of Roofs with Mechanical Fastening Using Technoelast FIX and Technoelast SOLO Materials (mechanical fastening) and the Manual for Designing and Installation of Roofs Made of Polymer-Bitumen Materials Manufactured by the TechnoNICOL Corporation.

Description of material


Technoelast SOLO RP1 is a waterproofing sheet for one-layer roof cladding. Technoelast SOLO RP1 is thicker (min. 5 mm) and has a base made of special polyester. This type of base ensures the strength of the material combined with high dimensional stability, which is especially important for one-layer coverings.

Technoelast SOLO RP1 is produced with a coarse-grained dressing compound on the face and a non-woven sheet on the bottom side.

The edge of longitudinal overlapping (100–120 mm wide) is covered by a polymer film or a non-woven sheet. Wide range of colors. Enhanced fireproof performance according to Construction Codes and Regulation (SNiP) 21.01: flame spread group — RP1 (not spreading flame); inflammability group — V2 (moderately inflammable).
